Today’s offering. Potato Leek soup. I woke up p Today’s offering. Potato Leek soup. I woke up pretty early this morning due to the clanking pipes - and thought well, lemons = lemonade. It feels amazing that I am moving more towards simplicity in the city. That means minimalism-ish and quasi-homesteading. This is a very simple soup with only 5 ingredients. No fancy shmancy potato leek soup. Just the natural flavor of potatoes, leeks, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Blueberry Walnut Banana Bread I got a second wind Blueberry Walnut Banana Bread I got a second wind tonight and decided to bake a banana bread. the potato leek soup I made earlier was divine and the bread makes a perfect dessert. I took a couple of days off to regroup and assess where I am in my food blogging adventure. It’s so important to step back and look at what you’re doing. To get a sense of the next steps. I’m glad I did. I narrowed in on what exactly it is I am trying to say through my food blogging and photography. And now a podcast and services. It’s so crystal clear. I used unsweetened full-fat coconut cream, agave, agar agar, and vanilla. I so enjoyed creating and photographing this Panna Cotta. Then once the shoot was over I devoured one of them. And I was pleasantly surprised by how the agar agar turned out. Just me. Stripping away all the bells and whistle Just me. Stripping away all the bells and whistles. The needing to be “more” than I really need to be. There are a lot of really cool things happening over at Craving The Yum, and it’s to the point where one must be vigilant with self-care and boundaries. It’s easy to be stretched thin and forget about the stops and the breaths and the roses along the way.
