OH-EM-GEE! How can a super healthy food like granola taste so good?
This chocolate granola is not only full of energy supplying nutrients, it tastes delicious too!
Unsweetened cocoa powder carries many health properties that can benefit your heart, blood pressure and help with depression. Make sure to consult with your physician about any health concerns you might have.
Personally, I try to keep my pantry stocked up with unsweetened cocoa powder. I love chocolate. I love sugar. I’m becoming very sensitive to sugar. To help curb the sugar cravings, I’ll add cocoa powder to different foods. Have you ever put a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder in your Greek yogurt? SO YUM!

I love granola, too! This is a good snack for any time of the year. I may pack a bag of this to take to the hay field with me this year. I’m sure this would not only give me energy to make it through the day but also keep me from getting hungry.

I didn’t know cocoa powder helped with depression but it makes sense! I know a bite of dark, dark chocolate helps me to feel better on rough days. This granola sounds so delicious, I’m definitely pinning to make it for later! I think it would taste wonderful on my breakfast greek yogurt.
Of course, chocolate and serotonin are related; I could never renounce chocolate!:) What a great idea for breakfast – packed with good stuff!
